The wooden arched footbridge in Noutonice transfers the pedestrian road over the Zákolany stream near Nový Mlýn. The span of the arch is 10 m. The construction is designed from oak, which corresponds to the natural environment of the surroundings and shows the necessary strength. The construction used - an interlaced wooden arch - was already known in ancient China and Japan, where it is still used for the construction of bridges in ornamental gardens and parks. It was rediscovered in Europe during the Renaissance by Leonardo da Vinci. The design is based on the principle of two sets of wooden segmental arches wedged together so that they act as an arch. The slatted bridge deck is supported on two separate arches which are placed on the supporting structure. The slats are fixed from below by hidden wooden pins. The balustrade consists of handrail, posts and stringers, which are connected to each other by carpentry joints. The posts are anchored between the clamps, which are drilled into the supporting structure from below. At the same time, the balustrade posts are supported against buckling by struts which are also anchored between the clamps. The railings are filled with wooden slats of 50/3 mm cross-section interlaced alternately between wooden cross-pieces of circular cross-section of 30 mm diameter. The footbridge structure is based on two reinforced concrete footings, placed at a depth of 80 cm on 30 cm deep compacted gravel pads.
